Ankh

The Ankh is the Egyptian symbol of life. It symbolises the universe and all things contained within it. It is the symbol of immortality, power, eternal life, the afterlife and it is seen as the key to secret wisdom. The symbol is made up of the symbols of Osiris and Isis (the male and female), signifying the union between heaven and earth. In Egyptian hieroglyphics the symbol can be read as health or happiness.
