Jamie Wake

Ghost Hunt
Medium

Jamie Wake is a modern day Psychic and Spiritualist Medium with a genuine gift. His approach to his mediumship shows that he is as down to earth as anyone could be and its through his demonstrations of mediumship and private sittings that he is able to prove that communication with loved ones in the spirt world is possible and that life is eternal - you can not die for the life of you!

Jamie often remarks that he is simply a telephone exchange between the world of spirit and world of matter and its through this exchange that the two worlds can speak together. Jamie does not predict lottery numbers! As a Spiritualist Medium, his job is to provide evidence of survival after physical death using clairvoyance, clairaudience and clairsensience.

Jamie is a British Medium based in Reading, Berkshire (UK) and serves spiritualist churches throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Oxfordshire and West London. Within Spiritualist Churches, Jamie gives public demonstrations of mediumship during Evenings of Clairvoyance and Divine Services. Jamie also gives one to one Private Sittings.

Through Workshops, Open Platforms and Fledglings Evenings, Jamie also helps new mediums reach their potential as a teacher. Jamie is also attached to Paranormal Investigation Companies as a Medium and uses this to educate people about the truth behind Spiritualism and Spirit Communication as opposed to to what is seen on TV.

Jamie is a Class B Member of the Spiritualists' National Union and is accredited as a Platform Demonstrator through the SNU's Platform Accreditation Scheme and has completed the SD1 Basic Exponents Course as part of his training. Jamie is also currently applying for a CSNU in demonstrating - a certificate in recongition awarded by the Spiritualists' National Union.

Jamie Wake was the Vice President of Reading Spiritualist Church where he sat on the church committee for 4 years and he also sat on the West London District Council of the Spiritualists’ National Union. Jamie also once sat on the Publicity and Promotions Committee of the Spiritualists’ National Union and is likely to be one of the youngest people to ever sit on a standing committee of the Spritualists' National Union.

Jamie Wake's modern and no nonsense approach appeals to all generations and Jamie hopes that he can bring Mediumship and Spiritualism to the younger generations.

Jamie Wake is also sitting to develop himself for Physical Mediumship and it seems that his development is leading Jamie to Trance and Transfiguration. It is through this physical circle that one of his Spirit Guides, Chu, brings words of wisdom to the circle's sitters.

Jamie hopes you enjoy your visit to his website and please do not hesitate to contact him if you have any questions about Spiritualism or Mediumship.

Position in Company?
In hindsight it's easy to spot that the influence of the Spirit World has always been there. My mum tells me that I used to talk to people down a hoover attachment when I was about 5/6 years old but it took a Charity investigation for Reading Pride with Paranormal Tours at the Roebuck Hotel for me to to accept it. Up until that point I had sat in a development circle from the age of 16 and had read the tarot from the age of 11. At school, my beliefs were so strong that I was not permitted to mix with other pupils during break time or lunch time. My biggest regret is not understanding that connection with spirit earlier - I spent 10 years waiting for a voice to rabbit on in my ear (that will teach me to learn from a Doris Stoke Book) until I realised that the connection is often a lot subtler than that! There's a bit more information about my journey on my website www.jamiewake.co.uk
Status i.e. believer/sceptic/undecided?
I am a Spiritualist Medium using Clairvoyance, Clairaudience and Clairsentience to communicate with the spirit world. Over the last year, I have been sitting in a Physical Circle and am continuing to Develop Transfiguration Mediumship and Trance Mediumship. The trance is going well and the recordings can be heard at www.trancecasts.co.uk. Being young, and handsome(!), I daren't use the work specialism as you are continually learning and improving your connection with the spirit world.
Number of years investigating?
That's a very hard question - I have many favourites for many different reasons! The Roebuck Hotel was the first investigation I ever attended and where I realised that I was mediumistic so it will always be special to me. Ufton Court was the first time I ever worked as a medium on an investigation and myself, Paranormal Tours and Reading Pride are the only people to have ever investigated the property. My favourite location for activity has to be Bisham Abbey!
Favourite location investigated?
I love castles so I'm guessing somewhere like Dover or Rochester Castle. Basildon Grotto (also knows as ILAM House) sounds interesting too! At some point I would like to investigate the Hell Fire Caves Too!
Scariest place investigated?
Not really been scared but I have been known to get jumpy - I don't like surprises or the unexpected - so if someone suddenly tugs my cardigan I'm not a happy bunny!
Where would you most like to investigate?
The Teamwork and comradery that forms between everyone - and not just with the people in the physical world! I also like to see the skeptics get jumpy too!
Most memorable investigation so far?
Running out of red bull!
Most frightening experience on an event so far?
Absolutely adore Poltergiest. It's a beautiful film. The Blairwitch Project was a bit scary too!
Number of apparitions seen?
I am always asked why my rucksack is over flowing and I'll let everyone into my secret as to what keeps me going! I'm well known in Spiritualism for being addicted to Red Bull so there's no surprise to hear that I bring at least 6 cans on an investigation - there's always a crate of them in my car too! I also have to bring 4 huge bags of Cheese and Chive Potatoe snacks and my Ipod! I tend to find my visits outside for a breath of fresh air keep me going too!
Number of orbs seen?
My life tends to be like an open book and with the beauty of Facebook there's not an awful lot about myself that people don't know already! Most people know that I work as a female impersonator which is usually my big surpise for people but do they know that I am standing as a Local councellor in the next local election? We'll have to wait and see if the public are ready to be represented by a Red Bull Swilling, Chain Smoking, Psychic Drag Queen - I have a feeling that they won't know what's hit them!
Have you witnessed any unexplained activity?
What are you most scared of?
Favourite scariest movie?
What keeps you going on an investigation?
Tell us something about yourself that we don't already know?
