About Paranormal Tours

Formed in 2003, Paranormal Tours has worked hard to become a leading Paranormal Investigation company and has established a respectable and reputable reputation. Over the years the company has worked with English Heritage, The National Trust, The Youth Hostel Association, National Trust for Scotland, Red Letter Days, Activity Superstore, Buy A Gift, numerous charities, government councils and privately owned locations to conduct their investigation of the unknown.

Directors Andrew & Kerry Marsay have built up the team to over 35 invesigators from all walks of life, scientists, police officers, teachers, musicians and IT specialists to name a few. The company also use respected Spiritual Mediums and Psychics on their events, including working regularly with TV's Ian Lawman. Although the company specialise in 'Ghost Hunts' they also work with their Mediums and have introduced development workshops into their portfolio, giving clients the opportunity to learn and bring out any dormant abilities that they may have.

Various members of the team have been invovled with the media, curious enough to interview them about their experiences. Along with working with TV's Most Haunted Live, the company has also appeared on Meridian Today, The Daily Express, Times Educational Supplement, Beyond Magazine, Prediction and many local newspapers and radio stations. Paranormal Tours also pride themselves in their charity work, organising sponsored ghost hunts with Anthony Nolan Trust, GCAP Media and have helped to raise thousands of pounds over the years, and with other charities.

A typical night with Paranormal Tours starts off with a very important health & safety brief. Prior to booking any investigation Paranormal Tours will visit a site and check that it is safe for an investigation. From there it is straight into the nights 'Psychic Workshop'. This is where the Medium for the night will give a talk on what abilities they claim to have and try to show the group how to bring these, and others, abilities out for the duration of the investigation. Depending on time, the Medium may also give a mediumship demonstration, linking in with loved ones that have passed over and hopefully pass on a message to clients in the group.

After this workshop, we then go on our 'Ghost Walk'. This is conducted usually with the lights on, and the Medium links in to any residential spirits and passes on information about them to try and prove their existance. Sometimes the information that is passed out it so personal to the site or an individual that it would be very difficult for a Medium to 'guess'. After the walk the night continues, usually with a buffet supper and there is plenty of tea and coffee served throughout the night.

Once energy levels are built back up the Paranormal Tours crew lead will give a demonstration of all the 'ghosthunting' equipment that will be used. There are some specifically designed pieces of kit that the investigators all have the opportunity to access. These are all simple handheld devices, such as the 2G-EMF, SpiritChaser, Canum and NID. An information session on different experiments, such as EVP, automatic writing, simple trigger objects, glass divination and planchette work are all explained.

Around midnight the team will then start the all important late night vigils. Split into smaller teams and now armed with new found knowledge, skills and equipment it's time to put these to the test and see if the investigators are lucky enough to make contact and capture evidence of the paranormal world. There are usually four vigils lasting around an hour at a time with regular breaks in betweeen for more coffee. At the end of the vigils the team all get back together for a post-investigation discussion to see if there have been any unexplained occurances throughout the night. It's interesting to see what information actually comes out and clients tend to go home with more unanswered questions than they had before they arrived. So join us on a Paranormal Tour ...if you're brave enough?
